4v3 fast break (box)

Setup

Four offense on the corners of a box (two up top, two at the wings), three defenders in a triangle and a goalie. Ball enters at the top; point to wing, wing to the crease or skip across.

Coaching points

• Offense keeps the box: don't run to the ball
• Move it fast: the open man is always one pass away
• Shoot from close: the best shot is low and near the crease
• Defense: point man takes the ball, others rotate down, sticks in the lanes
